IT Auditor

Job description

Our client's Corporate Internal Audit Europe Office is dedicated to ensuring the effective operation of risk management, governance, and internal control processes within organization's European operations. As part of a global network, they play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and security of our operations.



As an IT Auditor, you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of our client's internal controls, particularly in the areas of IT and cybersecurity. You will work under the supervision of the Europe Head of Internal Audit.



Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting annually planned IT audit missions, operational audits, and compliance or special purpose audits
• Independently assessing Internal Controls over Financial Reporting with a focus on IT General Computer Controls
• Contributing to IT Risk Assessment and cyber security posture improvement initiatives
• Providing advisory services, particularly in the realm of IT, to enhance internal controls and risk management practices
• Evaluating the quality of internal controls within audited organizations
• Presenting audit findings to the management of audited organizations and providing advice on remediation strategies
• Preparing comprehensive audit reports
• Developing projects for continuous monitoring and auditing

Criteria

• University degree in a relevant field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a multicultural environment, preferably as an internal or external auditor
• Strong understanding of IT risk management and audit principles
• Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering results
• Proficiency in French & English (spoken and written)
• Certification in ISO 27001 or any other IT professional certification is a plus
• Experience with data analytics and coding is desirable.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• High integrity and ethical standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across IT and business communities
• Proactive, flexible, and committed
